We have very fast-paced lives both in our professional careers and social lives. Keeping our motivation high and staying focused are really crucial during daily hustle and bustle.

I have been receiving extremely positive feedback about my motivation, especially from people I have just met. I will talk about my 3 simple techniques during this article how I keep my motivation high and stay focused on what I am doing, learning or building.
This article is based on my personal experience with mastering my motivation. While these three techniques work for me, they may not be applicable to everyone seeking to master their own motivations.
Let’s move to my three techniques that I am using to stay focused.
1. Personal Growth
You may call this item as personal growth or continuous self-improvement or continuous learning but it is one of the most important approaches in our lives. Curiosity is one of the strongest desires that drives us to learn and discover new things.
Below is the definition of curiosity from dictionary.com;
Curiosity means the desire to learn or know anything according to.
It is always important to improve ourselves. It may be in any technical domain or it may be related to any soft skill.
For example, ten years ago, I struggled with public speaking. However, I took the opportunity to improve and overcome my weakness. So, it was a good chance for my personal growth. I read books about how to achieve that, I watched dozens of TEDx Talks videos and I forced myself to talk in front of groups. I started with small groups, even with my friends and now talking in front of crowded groups is just like a habit for me.
Focusing on this self-improvement kept me motivated all the time.
As Mark Twain, who was a was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer, once said;
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
